VICTORY DANCE

Your  life feels like  war, doesn't it?  It's from one intense battle to another without you  having some time to catch your breath.One day, it's a battle with your physical health, the next could be  a combat with trauma and the following could be a desperate fight  to keep faith and hope alive. Then, there are  days when everything is coming against your existence at once.

Sometime ago, I told God I was tired of fighting for my life and that I needed some rest. He said to me "but was it not yesterday you said that you are God's battle axe and weapon of war? What happened today? Lol. That was enough to bring me back to the right mindset.

Well, you have the spirit of a Victor and that  is  God. It means, you can't become a Victor like God without standing face to face with challenges. So, You have an ever victorious commander. He is God Almighty. He teaches your hands to war and your fingers to battle. Stay and listen to Him, Obey His instructions and the day you close your eyes in death, it will be said of you that you won the war.

Lastly, your life is like a  boxing match. You may get knocked out some rounds but the game isn't over until you win. You're God's beloved child. Whatever contends with you set itself in direct opposition to your father. He fights for you till you are the last man standing in victory. May God have you in a victory dance spree in this season.

No, in all these things we are more than conqueror through him who loved us

SWEET-SOUR

You are  kind, thoughtful, committed, disciplined and  many other great attributes.Yet, you struggle to be humble, courageous, patient, forgiving to mention a few.

It is amazing how you are a sweet sour blend of strengths and weaknesses. Your strengths give light to others. Your weaknesses makes you strive for growth and balance which invites the presence of God. He programmed your strengths. He can also enable your weaknesses to become strong in Grace.

Jesus loves to work and walk with your weaknesses untill you become a new person who is just like Him on earth. Jesus is full of Grace and it's a privilege to have Him dwell in you. He will supply  grace for every flaw.

So, do not despair your weaknesses. Don't give up on change. Don't bask in those flaws either. But let go of hiding, pretense or any behaviour modification that is not rooted  within. Be honest with Jesus. He is on your side. He's not the friend that will tell your business to others at the slightest opportunity. Rather, He shines His light on your weaknesses, they are swallowed up in His grace and you are made strong.

 Jesus is  the grace you need. Today, if you hear His voice do not harden your heart.

But he said to me, "my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace in time of need.

BELIEVE AND RECEIVE

Elisabeth Elliot said, “Of one thing I am perfectly sure, God’s story never ends with ashes.”

The season of confusion, paranoia, fear, anxiety, PTSD and complete hopelessness has come to an end. 

God will restore your: sanity. Creativity. Vision. Dreams. Plans. Desire. Sweet Innocence. Grit.

He will restore your: Smile. Hearty laughter. Smiley eyes. Trusting face. Glow. Beauty. Light-heartedness. Cheerfulness. Sweet heart. Dance

God will also restore your: vitality. Power, Voice, Presence, Personality. functionality.

Above all, God is more than eager to restore your: Hunger for His presence. Intimacy with Him. Joy. Peace. Assurance of righteousness. Faith. Hope. And so much more.

It's a new season. God will beautifully restore you, I promise. He has already given you Jesus as your perfect Restoration. Against all odds, promise me you will believe and receive.

Return to them this very day their fields, their vineyards, their olive orchards, and their houses, and the hundreth of money, grain, wine, and oil which you have been exacting of them.

Then they said, "we  will restore these and require nothing from them we will do as you say." And I called the priests, and took an oath of them to do as they had promised.

Nehemiah 5:11-12

SEEK AND FIND

Life is  flowing water. Death, a mysterious door. Eternity, an endless era. No one can navigate these for you. So, make the settlement of your questions, doubts, and ignorance about God and especially, Jesus Christ a priority before you close your eyes in death. Dedicate your prime to this course of true liberty.

God made you up of spirit, soul and body. To seek, ponder and believe the truth about Him. You can recognize the truth when you collide with Him because He has been looking for you too. He gave you a will, you can choose the truth.

So, Your faith must be based on conviction. You can get to the point where you can vouch for your faith with irrefutable evidence. 

Your questions and doubts are valid to God. Dare to ask God for evidence. He made you. He knows you. He remembers you are on earth temporarily. He will guide you to the truth about Him that dissipates all fears you have. You are not even as eager to know God as much as He is eager to reveal Himself to you. God is more than ready to meet you, my Friend.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble. And you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

2Peter 1:10-11

U-TURN

You believe you're too far gone. So much is at stake for you. Nothing can ever be right with you. I know it's your real talk but is that the truth?

 You can never be helplessly on an endless journey towards self destruction. Because,  Wherever you are, Jesus can suddenly create a u-turn for you to take. He can really meet you where you are and revolutionize your life. He will provide you with new purpose, direction, and  passion for living.

There's a new beginning, healing, restoration, abundant grace for you in Jesus. My favourite is the gift of forgiveness, no-condemnation and righteousness. Yeah, you read right. Righteousness is God's gift to you in Christ Jesus.

So, You can have that real talk with Jesus even after 10 years.

You can open that Bible again. You can go to Jesus with your doubts. You can dare to believe He loves you. You can give Jesus a chance if you've never done that. By all means, talk to Jesus. He won't shame you. He understands you perfectly.

Jesus wants the far-offs. Infact, He never left you. He's been loving, protecting, caring, blessing and drawing you closer to His heart. Even now, He calls you His own.

And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the Potter's hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the Potter to do.

...can I not do with you as this Potter has done?...

SPEAK TOO

Why do you let people launch all kinds of attack on your self-image? 

Get this, for every thoughtless name given to you, there is a "from the body of my mother He named my name". For the darts thrown at your appearance in the guise of a joke, there's a "I'm fearfully and wonderfully made". Don't be brainwashed into belief that "you're stupid and a good for nothing", there's a "I am increasing in wisdom" for that. And don't worry about "you can never get anything done right", There is a " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Learn to counteract foul words  spoken over you Immediately. 

Refuse to tolerate cusses from peers. If persons in authority are unkind towards your self image, stay respectful but speak well of your self as soon as you are out of their presence.

 Refuse to be an embodiment of  deathly words. See God's vision of you as His very likeness  and fight every word that is fashioned to destroy that.  Speak words that   transforms your mind and body.  Refuse to go through life without contributing a word  to your book of becoming. Get in the word of God and rewrite your story.  He speaks life over you all the time, join Him too!

No weapon that is fashioned against you shall prosper and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgement. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication is from me.
